The Process

There is no need to feel overwhelmed as Hartt Cakes is here to take all the stress associated with planning your wedding away by making your experience with us as seamless as possible.

I will keep you informed in all the steps of creating and executing your cake. From getting to know you and your wedding, to sharing a special thank you gift.

I am here to ultimately create an experience you won't forget - as well as a gorgeous cake that is both impressive and delicious.

A JOURNEY FROM ENQUIRY TO CAKE

After securing your wedding date, you will be sent a link to book your complimentary cake design consultation.

A cake design consultation is a great opportunity for me to know exactly what you would like in regard to the cake.

After your consultation, I will get to work on sketch designs and send them to you via email for your approval.

This can take from 4-6 weeks

step two

I will check in with you every so often leading to the wedding, this is a perfect opportunity for me to answer any questions or queries you may have.

Six weeks before the wedding your remaining balance will be due.

I will liaise directly with your wedding venue to arrange delivery and set up of your wedding cake, so all you need to do is sit back, relax and enjoy the build up to your wedding day.

As soon as you have booked your venue, it is best to get in touch to check my availability.

I only take on 1-2 wedding cakes a week. As a result, peak dates do get booked up well in advance.

Dates are only secure once the initial deposit of 50% is paid.

Once your quote is sent to you will be sent a link to book your complimentary quote consultation. This is a great opportunity for us to meet (via zoom) and discuss your quote, get to know you and I can also answer any questions you may have.

After your consultation, your quote will be valid for 10 days. In this time you can sign the contract and pay your deposit.

WHAT IS A TASTING BOX?

If you would like to try my cakes before securing your booking with me, you can order one of my Tasting Boxes.

When you book your wedding cake the receipt of £40 will be deducted from your final balance.

Please note that no booking is secure until the 50% non-refundable deposit has been paid.

All of the wedding cakes I make are bespoke, so prices will vary depending on the size of the cake and the complexity of the design.

With so many variables affecting the price I think starting prices can therefore be a bit misleading, so the pricing guide below shows you the average prices you would expect to pay for one of my cakes.

The more elaborate the design, the more you can expect to pay.

Having a mixture of dummy and real tiers will reduce the price slightly.
